Abraham Lincoln

Exactly ... many people see Abraham Lincoln as a deity ... and many of his roots were founded in good principals and capitalism (he abhorred slavery because his father used to "rent" him out and kept all his wages, thus, Lincoln believed that you should be able to keep what you earn, not have it taken away from you) 1.... but also, over 500,000 lives were lost in the Civil War2., at one point Habeas Corpus was suspended and before the War, the Union was voluntary, not so at its conclusion. Additionally, who says the economy is so bad? The media? Take a look at Coke's "economy" on their financial statements and tell me that times are bad. So, be careful from whom's eyes you see the world.
